Seed Treatment and Cleaner operator
Job Description:
This position requires experience in operating and maintaining equipment in seed, grain or similar production environment. In this position you will work closely with, and support other on-site personnel in an effort to continuously improve our processes and consistently establish the highest standards in the industry for safety, seed quality, cost, and supply reliability.
Responsibilities:

Conditioning: seed cleaning, and treatment application

Packaging: packaging, labeling and tagging seed

Warehousing: organizing, moving and placing seed into storage, maintaining inventory accuracy utilizing electronic inventory systems

Distribution: prepare seed for shipment to other locations and customers, receive seed

Maintenance: responsible for preventive maintenance of equipment in assigned areas

Maintain compliance with industry standards
Required Skills / Experience:
-
Be able to work at heights up to 200 ft.

Periodically perform heavy labor

Be able to qualify for use of a dust and mist respirator
Skills & Personal Traits:

Strong Organizational and Multitasking skills

Excellent communication skills(verbal& Written) for effective external and Internal staff communication
Desired Skills / Experience:

Class A CDL

Commercial Pesticide Applicators License

Mechanical abilities (able to operate and trouble shoot equipment)

Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems / Basic computer skills

Prior agricultural experience

Attention to detail, drives tasks to closure efficiently with error-free results
Employment will be contingent on a pre-employment physical which will include a drug test, background check and MVR report.

Goldendale Washington Farm Store
Retail Warehouseman
This is a part time position with a growing and successful farmer owned cooperative.
Duties:
' Sell products and provide product information
' Greet customers and load warehouse and lot products.
' Stock Farm Store with merchandise warehoused or stored in the lot or warehouse.
' Carry out and load farm store merchandise.
' Deliver merchandise to Farm Store customers.
' Open and close lot and warehouse areas.
' Help in Farm Store and cashier positions as needed.
' Load and unload bales of straw, hay and feed that exceed 50 pounds.
Job Qualifications Include:
* Computer literate to operate computer and other office machines.
* Basic mathematics to perform arithmetic calculations.
* Some high school education required.
* Retail experience preferred.
Schedule:
Mon- Saturday 8:00-5:30; other shifts as deemed necessary.
